Privacy policy

The clock uses browser storage to remember:

• Your selected city, appearance, sound, motion and display preferences.
• Stopwatch progress and laps, timer names and progress, focus cycles, and alarm names, times, cities and repeat settings.
• Up to six named saved views.
• Weather and forecast data for cities you have viewed, with update times.

The clock app does not upload your saved names, alarms or settings to a QK server. These records are specific to this browser and site address; they do not sync across devices. They remain until you change or delete them, clear the site's data, or your browser removes them.

Weather is normally refreshed after 15 minutes while the page is active. This is a freshness interval, not an automatic deletion period. Saved weather can remain available when a request fails.

When automatic country selection is enabled, your browser contacts Country.is on opening the clock. “Use my country” starts another lookup. That service receives your IP address as part of the connection. The clock uses the returned country code and your device's time zone to suggest a supported city; it discards the IP address returned by the lookup.

The clock does not request GPS access. Country detection is approximate. Selecting a city manually saves that choice and stops automatic country lookups on future visits, unless you select “Use my country” again.

Your browser contacts Open-Meteo for weather and forecasts. Requests contain the selected city's catalog coordinates and time zone, not your GPS position. Open-Meteo also receives normal connection information, including your IP address. Its privacy notice describes technical logs and a 90-day log-deletion period. Country.is states that it does not log requests. These are the providers' policies, not storage controlled by QK.

This version of the clock app includes no advertising or analytics trackers and uses browser storage, rather than cookies, for its own saved settings.

The current site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting platform may process connection and security information and use cookies for access or sign-in. That processing is separate from the clock's local records and is covered by OpenAI's privacy policy. Hosting and external providers may process data outside your country under their own policies.

Following an external link takes you to a separately operated service. Its privacy notice applies there.

If you email contact@qktoolhub.com, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use correspondence to respond, investigate the issue and handle related requests.

Correspondence is handled through email services and kept for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry, follow up or meet applicable legal obligations. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

You can edit or delete alarms and saved views in the clock. To remove all local clock data, first close every open clock tab, then use your browser's site-data controls to clear data for this site's address. This removes preferences, saved views, alarms and time-tool progress. On your next visit, default settings apply and weather data is requested again.

We cannot retrieve or erase a browser-only record remotely. For information you have sent us, contact the email above to request access, correction, deletion or another applicable privacy right. We may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law; you may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

We update this page when the service or its information handling changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be identified in an updated notice.
